What is the history of the Canyon Road in Santa Fe?
Canyon Road began as a walking path used by the native Pueblo tribes and later by the Spanish. The Road originally connected to the Santa Fe River, which made it ideal for farming. By the 1920s, Canyon Road became a hip and busy artist’s colony.
