I love wandering the Strip when the weather is soft and sunny, eating my way through Chinatown, and hiking at Red Rock Canyon, where the rocks practically glow in the afternoon light.
My one big tip is to pack a jacket because the temperature drops fast once the sun slips behind the mountains.

The MGM Grand, The Flamingo Las Vegas, and The Luxor are all affordable hotels directly on the Las Vegas Strip.
Puerto Rico

I love checking out Moody Gardens, walking the Strand for shopping and sweets, and taking long beach walks at Stewart Beach.

February gives you warm days without the heavy humidity and bugs, so the entire park feels like a completely different experience.

Everglades City Motel in Everglades City is near the park and walkable to a few food places. Fairway Inn in nearby Florida City is another affordable stay (with free parking) just 10 minutes from Everglades National Park.
